HOW IS RUNNING OUR SCIENTIFIC PROJECT

Right now we have three different scientific projects in progress. Two of them are part of a bigger project and the other one goes apart. We are going to tell you how they have evolved so far:

The two projects that go together are the following ones: in the first project we have created a thermometer with Arduino technology and we will try to place it in the body of a horse. The thermometer collects data, which is stored in a SD card. We can turn it on and off with a push button. The next step of this project is to send this data directly to a mobile phone via Bluetooth.

Regarding the second project, we are about to finish the creation of an oximeter with Arduino that we are going to place on a horse too. This will allow us to know the horse's heart-beats per minute. When this part is finished, we will also apply the technique of the previous project to send the data immediately to a moblie device. The oximeter is still being constructed and, by the moment, we are doing other little projects because we the do not have the materials to build it.

As far as the third project is concerned, we have created a rat trap which, with Arduino technology, will allow us to count the number of rats that go through the trap. This method will help the owner of a farm that we have chosen to know if the colony of rats that he has in his farm is large or small.
